Storm Gareth, Port Closures and High Winds

Storm Gareth is due to hit today with high winds being forecast for the next two days. The Met Office has issued several yellow weather warnings which include the Ports of Felixstowe, Liverpool and Southampton.

The weather warning will be in place until 15:00pm on Wednesday 13.03.2019 across the UK.

We have been advised this morning that the Port of Felixstowe is currently closed with an expected reopening time of 17:00pm this afternoon.

With the high winds forecast until tomorrow there may be additional port closures over the course of today and tomorrow.

These closures may have an impact on deliveries and container restitution, should your shipments be effected in any way we will update you accordingly.
