Increased Delays in Calais and Storm Gareth

Storm Gareth is causing further delays in Dover, Calais and most other ports in Northern Europe.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning with gusts up to 50mph which are currently sweeping in from the West.

Ferry operators have advised that sailings are behind schedule and experiencing delays of up to 90 minutes.

Further to our latest news article posted earlier this month, Customs officers are continuing with their ‘work-to-rule’ protest which began last week.

These disruptions, coupled with a higher demand of cargo currently being imported into the UK at present, are resulting in longer transit times.

Rest assured, we will be utilising all methods of transport to deliver your goods at the earliest opportunity.
