Spanish Port Strikes Cancelled

UpdateThe industrial action affecting all Spanish Ports has been withdrawn and the strikes for this week have been cancelled on the following dates:3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th of JulyThe relevant parties have agreed to continue negotiations without strike action being taken for the time being, however heavy congestion does still remain.Due to the heavy congestion, our services are still likely to suffer slight delays until the backlog has cleared.For further information, please do not hesitate to contact your day to day operator and we will keep updated of any changes.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Further to the strike actions called on the 5th, 7th, 9th, 19th, 21st, and 23rd June, the Unions have just announced that they intend withdraw the strikes scheduled on the following days:June 23rd, 26th and 27thAlthough this strike action is expected to be cancelled, please be advised that it is still likely to have an impact on our transits and services due to go slows and backlogs of goods and equipment at all ports.We remain optimistic that negotiations will continue between stevedores, stevedoring companies, associations and Government in order to reach agreement before next intended strike periods are imposed which are outlined below:July - 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7thFor further information, please do not hesitate to contact your day to day operator and we will keep updated of any changes.
