National Tree Week

This week (25.11.23 – 3.12.23) marks National Tree Week, the UK’s largest annual tree celebration.Neptune has this year begun work on our own woodland (Derowek) and planting of our own orchard.Currently 1,500 trees have been planted in Derowek alongside the 10 that have started our Orchard, made up of different species of apple tree growing which will be able to provide delicious eating and cooking apples for our staff.We are looking to increase the number of trees in early 2024 by a further 12 of varying local fruit varieties.Along with the fruit this will also give staff at our offices the opportunity for woodland walks on site in the near future.With Christmas fast approaching we are also preparing to display trees inside the office at the start of December.On the 1.12.23 the team will be decorating the office and enjoying festive treats to start the Christmas season.
