Lunar New Year 2019 – Year of the Pig
Lunar New Year is a traditional holiday period in the Far East meaning that factories and offices across China and other countries will be closed this week. Many factories close for a period of several weeks to ensure their workers are able to rejoin their families for the holiday period. Tuesday 5th February 2019 will herald the start of the Year of the Pig. The start of this holiday also means that carriers have reduced their sea freight rates for services sailing from the Far East. Carriers introduce blank sailings in order to ensure that all vessels are as full as possible when they depart. If you require a quote from the Far East please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be able to assist you. We at Neptune wish you great happiness and prosperity in the coming New Year. 新年快乐 |
