Flooding in Central Europe
The transport system in Central Europe is experiencing severe problem due to flooding. The area that is worst effected covers Southern Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. Roads in this area have been closed and rail services cut.In Austria, the meteorological service said two months of rain had fallen in just two days.A state of emergency has been declared in the Czech Republic.

Two thousand troops have been mobilised in Germany to help with the situation in Bavaria and Saxony.The situation does not look like it will improve until at least Wednesday/Thursday.
