Strikes are expected to take place at the French Ports throughout June 2024. Whilst all French Ports are likely to be impacted, Calais is forecast to be the most effected.
The strikes are expected to cause delays with both exports and imports though the border.
Neptune will endeavour to keep any delays to a minimum and will keep you fully informed should any of your shipments be directly affected.
This industrial action could further affect the imbalance of trade and the availability of trailers on the continent. During this period, we may therefore use other forms of transport with slightly longer transits.
