Typhoon Meranti slams Southern China after battering Taiwan
The super Typhoon, with winds of up to 216Km/h has now reached Southern China after bringing chaos to Taiwan.
In the Port of Kaohsiung, at least 10 vessel’s broke from their anchors, including a 140,000 tonne vessel.
One 14,000 TEU vessel, crashed into the port and caused damage to several cargo cranes.
This Typhoon has caused operations at Ports to cease and severe delays in cargo operations are to be expected throughout Taiwan and Southern China.
